Enticing aromas of wild strawberries and lavender predominate with some subtle hints of honeysuckle in the background. This wine has a wonderfully rich, supple mid-palate followed by a clean, crisp finish. After fermentation, wine is aged passively on the lees for several months. This is the perfect wine for all pink entrees (crab, shrimp, & salmon) plus various appetizers. It is wonderful at picnics as well as sit down lunches. It also pairs well with soup or appetizer courses for multicourse dinner events.
